It's the Saturday afternoon of my 25th high school reunion. The day's activities are over and the only pieces left on the agenda are this evening's class reception, all-alum dinner and dance. Since I drove my rental car onto campus about 24 hours ago a rush of intersecting emotions have been cascading all around but the one adjective that seems to be dominating -- trite as it is -- is, "surreal."
